THE BOW OF RAIN
Norma Drimmer
There was a bow of rain in all the colours that man could see and also those that he could not. His arch spanned from one side of the horizon to the other side, and the brilliant light turned all little drops of water into blue fire. Those enormous waters receded and set matter free again. The bow was a gate into a new world, the start of a fresh cycle. Ever since then water and fire have combined to make life possible, to keep it true and shiny with all its potentialities. We are water that is channelled through matter .Our eyes reflect our sapphire soul like a drop of water will reflect all those, that will turn a rivulet into a quiet lake. We are made of water and energy; we are like those elements. We might drift with the rivulets of our life and will suddenly be swept away by the currents that might swirl us around like a maelstrom, will make us quiver with excitement or will turn and toss us threatened around. We will be smoothed down by the powers of life until we will be soft and pliant like those water pebbles and will finally turn into a multitude of sand corns that will build new borders for those flowing waters. We might be tossed with such a mighty force that it will create energies, felt far away from us and then be lead into calm waters and might end in a last reflection of brilliant white light before the cycle will start anew.
