“TISCH EVENT”

An “Event” can refer to a devastating natural disaster or a brutal political change, an intense experience of a work of art or an intimate decision.

The Israeli curator and artist Doron Polak so far has initiated about eight of these “Tisch” events. At a,“Tisch “ you sit around a table, you share food and thoughts with a diverse group of people that are united by a common subject. Everybody is free to discuss the subject how he or she sees fit. Each person will approach the subject differently according to his craft or profession or outlook on Life. By creating thus an “event” we will cross the boundaries of our individual limitation of perception and push the borders of our understanding.

The ninth “Tisch” event will return to the meaning of one of the elements, of water in its broadest sense and will take place in Berlin, Germany, in the Studio of Norma Drimmer.
