You can be born in Berlin, your child can be born in Berlin, your work can be born in Berlin or realized elsewhere but be influenced by this city. Berlin is a city with a history but it is also a state of mind. Five artists have been influenced by Berlin. In the exhibition “Born in Berlin” they let the viewer decide if their work is complementary or in dialogue or as contradictory as the city of Berlin is itself. The sharing of opinions, directions and inspirations will become part of the process of the development of their works. By curating each other`s works another form of dialogue is created. Different media will be used by the artists that will influence the form of their works. They incorporate either motion or emotion or a frozen moment within a process that makes a city - that makes a work of art.
