Boat thoughts
A boat is, like the Hebrew letter B, a bayt, a mobile home, just like one’s body. A body for its major part is made out of water energy whereas a boat will swim in it. Bodies or boats drown when there is abundant violence or cold indifference. Sometimes they just freeze; frozen feelings, frozen in an ice that still contains some traces of those that walked over it. Bubbles of air come up from fish, living beneath the water; bubbles of emotions come popping to the surface and make us break into a smile or let us heave with sorrow.
Thoughts are, like paper boats, ephemeral, bobbing on the surface for a while, and then to disappear for good, unless you carry them beyond reality, to let them float on clouds in a blue sky, reflected back to earth.
Boats of paper carry printed messages, heavy with their pompous shouting of the latest news, old, before being put to paper. It is just a grabbing for your mind, competition for the breakfast meal or the million trivia’s, shouting for attention, almost equal to the latest score in the game of your device; unless you will allow yourself to fold the boat and let it free to roam, to take its message with its fragile form, wherever mind or body want to take it.
News on papers keeps the memory of our reality. If you find a header with a meaning, go and search between the empty words so that, just like the sound of foaming waves , their messages will bring you back again to that one quiet place, where crossroads cut and you shall have to choose.
